Ahh, Creature Features; my favorite genre of horror. It goes back to when I used to watch the Heisei Godzilla movies on Starz and those "so-bad-they're-funny" SyFy channel movies. As a little kid, I always wanted to make friends with the monsters (especially the reptilian ones) and drew stories where they were the heroes. Guess that explains my emphasis in creature design and love for comics like these.

That last story sounds like "Relics" from TNG . . . except instead of rescuing Scotty from being stuck in a transporter, they rescue The Thing!

That “Werewolf of Fever Swamp” adaptation was _so_ _freaking_ _good_ , I got chills the first time I read it, because it just conveyed this atmosphere the actually good tv show adaptation couldn’t with the limits of a tv budget.

Mosquito reminds me of two things: 1) Back in elementary our Librarian had big yen for stories involving Native American legends. Like a Native American Cinderella Story. 2) Dayum Mosquito Girl (One Punch Man).
