33:27 so on paper, the tech hit push block introduced in Vampire Savior seems ridiculously difficult to perform. However, while at EVO, I spoke to high-level players about it and discovered you’re supposed to swipe your hand across the buttons on the arcade cab layout from left to right or right to left while blocking. Do it quick enough and you push block the opponent. Obviously, VSav was created at the height of the arcade scene and not the console scene, hence a maneuver made easy when on the arcade cab. With a little practice, you can do it consistently. It’s ingenious yet also made clear why it’s simplified for the Marvel vs Capcom series (just as they simplify supers) and would likely be refined in a new Darkstalkers game for the future.

Great video, but I feel the need to correct you on a small detail about performance of Darkstalkers Resurrection. It did not flop, it was actually in the top 10 of best selling games for March, 2013 on the Playstation Store charts, at number 7. 1.) MLB 13: The Show 2.) Journey 3.) The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct 4.) Terraria 5.) Tomb Raider 6.) BioShock Infinite 7.) Darkstalkers Resurrection 8.) Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Decade Duels Plus 9.) Call of Duty: Black Ops II 10.) I Am Alive Bioshock Infinite sold 878,000 units in March. Capcom simply had unreasonable standards for the SIXTH rerelease of a 16 year old game. Please do not fall for Capcom's gaslighting and blaming the fans for their mistakes. Especially when they led the Darkstalkers fanbase to believe that they were getting a new game, but chose to test the waters instead after Street Fighter X Tekken truly flopped, which scared from risking it with another fighting game besides Street Fighter. The failure of Marvel vs Capcom Infinite 4 years later probably didn't help either.

personally i think rikuo is the best character in all of the darkstalkers series he has one of if not the best design the best moveset and the best lore i loved how at the start he had nothing but as time went on he found a loving wife had a son and found a new kingdom and his story by the end of the 3rd game finished quite nicely. I think he is the best character for all of those reasons i just wish people loved him more for some reason people dont like him but for me rikuo is number 1 im just glad capcom finally is giving him some love by putting a skin of him in dead rising deluxe remaster and the fact that its in the re engine i may not ever get another darkstalkers game but seeing a rikuo skin thats made in the re engine yeah i can live with that.😂
