Personally, I'd like to see *Primal Rage* make a comeback. But I think they should merge it with the monsters from *Godzilla* and the arcade classic *Rampage* along with SNK's *King of Monsters* and include the city destroying gameplay elements. SNK could make an awesome game out of this.

Honestly, too little too late. I don't trust modern day Capcom to make a good Darkstalkers sequel or even a remake. Let Darkstalkers stay forgotten. It's better this way.

Capcom will probably make it a 3D fighting game and I would not be a fan. Even if it was a 2D plane gameplay wise the 3D change would annoy me.

One thing I like about Dark Stalkers is how there's a lot of characters that aren't just heroes. Some are bad guys. Some of their motivations are rather selfish. It's wht makesFelicia so unforgettable. She's a pretty interesting idea foragoodguy. Also, I really likecat girl. XD

I will always miss Darkstalkers even since I bring it up with my firends when we talk about fighting games and while Street Fighter is the only series on Capcom's mind, I do hope that maybe someday Darkstalkers can make a better comeback.

Darkstalkers gives a lot of love to horror lore with names and birth years being homages. They put a lot of care into the story. Capcom just doesn’t seem to care about it like we do.

Darkstalkers is my favorite Capcom fighting property; I mean… it’s an international monster fighting game. That’s brilliant! I am super blessed to have been able to buy the official action figs during the games release. I’ve always run Morrigan and Felicia and am still happy with them. I wish Capcom would do right by this wonderful series.

Darkstalkers is a series that I always felt that despite the lack of new entries, its characters are way too popular to die since they are everywhere in regards to Capcom’s crossovers and cameos.

I bought the comics and it's a nice extension of the story. In the first game, when you win against Pyron with Morrigan, you see her sucking the soul of Pyron and his energy, living behind an empty corpse.

As somebody who never played DarkStalkers and never really had much interest in it, I was really impressed with this video Shoryu. You are such a great storyteller that you got me interested in this game even though I wasn't before. If you're interested Capcom Fighting Collection on the PS4 has the Dark Stalker games all in one package. It takes a bit to learn the combo configuration but they are tons of fun.

Thank you for covering Darkstalkers! It's so awesome. It's clear that Capcom has no confidence in releasing a new game. That collection with all of the Darkstalkers games was called the Capcom Fighting Collection. They didn't even want to put DARKSTALKERS or NIGHTWARRIORS in the title. But they are putting actual series titles into the Capcom vs collection coming later. I still think a new Darkstalkers fighter would be successful if effort were put into it.

Something that I like about Darkstalkers (besides the R34 arts of Felicia and Lilith 😊) is that the series is very goofy 😆 What caught my attention to Darkstalkers was not the horror/scary elements or the characters being monsters. What really caught my attention was the artstyle during gameplay. DS has a very cartoony look. Which was confirmed by the devs that they took inspiration from 80s Hanna Barbera cartoons and classic Tom & Terry 😄 And that is one of the reasons why I don't want a new Darkstalkers game, I don't want to see the DS characters having a semi realistic look like in SF6 or DMC5 (And the female characters being censored) 🫤 Darkstalkers without the goofy cartoony style is not Darkstalkers to me

Again, I needed this! Darkstalkers got me through Highschool, back in the 90s. Darkstalkers is unique because of the Supernatural Aspects, and unique take on the old Universal Monster Movie Tropes. Darkstalkers has always been a fun Fighting Game, and one that made the 90s even more interesting next to the big Fighting Games of the 90s. It's sad that Morrígan Aensland, Felicia, Hsien Ko to a degree, and partially Demitri Maximoff are the only Darkstalkers who receive love. The only reason Jedah Dohma is even important, because Capcom needed another villain in MVCI. Leave it to Capcom, we may never see another Darkstalkers, unless not having another Darkstalkers will financially break Capcom. Capcom will make tons of money, even without making another Darkstalkers game, so the only thing fans can do is keep asking Capcom, and hopefully they eventually listen. At least we have the 2D Morrígan, Felicia, and other Darkstalkers returning in the Marvel vs. Capcom collection. My friends, I hope I get to see a Darkstalkers 4, before I die, but that's up to Capcom. I mean, I want SNK to bring back some characters from Maximum Impact, but SNK may never do that. Sadly, we can't get everything we want. Sadly........

I have a theory about why SVC Chaos has Demitri in it. The game’s lore has all the characters being dead and in purgatory. Demitri is thought to have canonically died against Jedah in Darkstalkers 3. Maybe he is trying to rule the after…AFTER life 😂. I mean, Zero also dies in MMZ4, so he’s stuck there too.

I think the only way for a series comeback is if it has a vs series, like DC vs Darkstalkers sounds amazing. DC has plenty of magic/energy based characters. Imagine Superman vs Pyron, Lord Raptor vs Lobo, Catwoman vs Felicia, Batman vs Talbain, Solomon Grundy vs Victor etc etc. Bringing Darkstalkers back into the fold with DC who's struggling in the videogame department ya' know 😉

I like the fact that Darkstalkers had a new protagonist in every game with Demitri for 1, Donovan for 2, and Morrigan for 3. And not one of them is a GOOD GUY 😂. Demitri is legit evil, Donovan becomes Dee, and Morrigan just wants excitement 😂. You could say the protagonists become LESS evil as the games go on.
