I just came here to say that, ever since I bought my first set of Cree Lighting Connected Max SmartBulbs, I have been in love! They're even brighter than your average regular LED lightbulb in white mode (and head and shoulders brighter than a typical smart bulb, including the Philips Hue), and the colors are phenomenally bright as well, especailly when compared to other smart bulb brands! As someone with intractable insomnia, the Follow the Sun features have been a lifesaver. Yes, the Kelvin shift allows me to feel sleepy at night, but the artifical dawn really synchronizes me and helps me be up early even if I went to sleep late with very little sleep inertia. My only annoyance (and it is an egregious one) has been that, for a while, they removed the Follow the Sun option from the Group > Routines menu and replaced it with Music Sync, which is where you can play music to activate different flashes of color like a rave. That was profoundly frustrating during the good few months they had this going. It goes without saying that not all products are good. In fact, I would say that I'm used to products being significantly worse than advertised and a ripoff for the money. But this is an excellent product. As long as they don't enact another Music Sync catastrophe, this is one product I have stumbled upon that I will hoard in case it ever goes out of production. It is by far the best smartlight for the price (and even better than most twice the price).

I'm a little disappointed that you didn't go over the Cree Connected Max security camera installation and product description/function/performance. I think I'm about to purchase the cree max camera but can't find a video that covers those aspects of the camera. However, I did find a lot of the information you provided in this video to be incredibly helpful.

What do you do if a guest tries to turn on the lights using the wall switch and the bulbs are off on the app?
@CiscoSal2 жыл бұрын
The switch overrides the app so the lights turn on
@adriancjones2 жыл бұрын
@@CiscoSal which switch do I get to make that happen? Also what state does the switch turn the lights on in? Same as last used, or is there a std state that can be assigned?
@CiscoSal2 жыл бұрын
This switch amzn.to/3UHl6Do and yes. The last state they were in.

@@CiscoSal thanks I’ll give it a try. I saw on another post person was using the Phillips hue bridge to control his Cree lights. The bridge has iPhone home kit functionality.

@@CiscoSal I also have these lights and I am happy with them. I was looking to purchase few more in case some fail in the future but I noticed they are no longer available anywhere. Do you know if they were discontinued? The Cree lighting website does not show any products from the Connected Max line, maybe the company is going out of business.
