The "yellower" normally indicates 2700k not 3200k. The original Tungsten lamps, certainly in theatre lighting, were about 2700k; then Tungsten-Halogen came along at approx 3200k. Whilst all the while 'daylight' fixtures (usually movie) were around 5200/5600k. These varying CT's have output 'look' implications, particularly when comparing light output 'quality' on a blank wall.
