I have a 13Q02 batch which is a really nice strong pineapple and apple batch, but it is also well-balanced with the smokey-birch accord...I just love it. I was temped to order a K01 batch, but I decided to order a batch with a strong smokey-birch accord instead. You always want what you don't have, I suppose (Lol).

I think Aventus is one of the most likeable, beautiful smell out there. I had once a sample and it has gone so fast. But to have a full bottle, I will need to wait more years to come for allowing me buying a bottle. It is too expensive for my pocket. Maibe I will have the chance to win somehow. Very nice review!

Hey Razvan, that's true and sad! Most brands are massively produced and poorly managed... There are options these days for this scent profile. Aventus is resting on it's laurels from the fame the KZbin FragComm gave it over the years...

TheCameltotem Did you own any of the batches from 2013 prior? Are you finding W01 to be very strong upon spraying? Too much of one ingredient at the beginning?

crimsinspin39 No my first bottle, it's pretty damn strong the first 10-15 minutes, smells like bugspray then it settles down and you get less intense fruity smell and more smoky. Don't really like the first 15 minutes but after that it's really really good.

Nice and informative video Max. For me, Aventus gets 5/5 stars across the board. If I had to reduce my arsenal to only 3 frags, Aventus would be one hands down.

Man...I just purchased a 4oz from neiman marcus in vegas and holy crap...I have gotten major compliments. I don't understand what people mean when they say they get crap performance. Mine is beastly on projection and longevity. I have lot #s42c14k01. How is this batch? Is it supposed to be a fruitier one or more smoky? It's the only batch I've smelled so Im unsure. I know it smells good as hell to me and excellent performance. Really cool video bud.

My honest opinion about creed, It's a great smelling fragrance, But they need to stop monkeying around with the batches and Stick to one formula... You don't want the clone to have more authenticity than the blueprint😉

Batch 13U01 was really good. I was in and sampled 2015 recently and the new batch to me was very potent. I think all I smelt was the black current. I think less is more with these new batches. I prefer a more blended fruitier batch. Not sure what is going on though. Today, I put on two dabs and one on arm of my sample and I started to get a headache. Does anyone know when more batches are coming out?

I didn't love it at first sniff. Actually, it reminded of Burberry London. Kind of weird, right? But as I wore it more, it grew on me. The dry down is what I await.

hey Max, I got the 75ml from a Creed certified reseller in Paris. problem is, I'm 100% sure they sold me a different batch from the one I sprayed from the tester, with that one I got stellar longevity, even after a shower. but with the one I bought, it doesn't have the same initial punch, longevity is ridiculously weak and almost 0 projection. I have batch code A4216D01, but sadly didn't get a look at the batch from the tester bottle. do you think I can return it for an exchange? I only sprayed it 3 times. definitely not happy with it. I'd like your input/advice from your experience. thanks.

Relaxxx! Its a new batch, wear it a couple of more times, the let it sit in your drawer for a couple of months then itll get stronger. I have the 16d01 and had the same issue.

Angelo Sinders Hi Angelo I just blind bought a 120ml split from eBay seller which is 16d01 batch still one the way shipping. I current own a bottle of 75ml which is 16e21 batch. Have u compared with theses two. I find e21 is not as potent as I thought cuz I reviewed some comments on base notes.com someone said e21 is one of best performance in 2016. Do I need to settle a bit time?

Interesting this old Aventus review. I do think Aventus is a masterpiece, without a doubt. Both artistically and popularly. Creed doesn't do a lot of high profile advertising. The hype is for a reason.
