Drago fell into depression and dishonor when he lost to Rocky. Then when he visited Rocky's restaurant, one of the first things he said is "No pictures of me?" Imagine how even more hurt he must have felt. The guy who single-handedly ruined your life does not even recognize you . I agree with what you're saying, but all the same, Rocky IV is a guilty pleasure. There's no cheese quite like Cold War cheese. Ivan didn't get to speak much at all in Rocky IV, but he did scream in the fight at the end that he was fighting for himself, and not the people who wanted to use him as a political tool and showpiece. It's a nice symmetry to what both Adonis and Viktor are going through. Viktor thinks his fight will get all of what his dad lost back, and Adonis thinks he's avenging his father's death. But both of them at the end realize they're fighting for themselves.

Rocky didnt see his victory over Drago as adding to his personal glory or his boxing career. He did it for a friend and that was that. Drago was chasing fame and glory with a good dose of revenge going into this sequel, but I really like how he and his son finally break free of that in the ending.

As the news reporter says Rocky was heavily criticised for not throwing in the towel and you know Rocky is haunted by that. Creed 2 adds so much more substance to Rocky 4 as 4's pacing didn't allow for scenes to show his guilt in-depth or let Apollo's death be truly mourned. I'll always love Rocky 4 but I'm glad Creed 2 added to the former's story in the ways it does

Rocky doesn't want no pictures of that fight just due to the fact that fight wasn't just a regular boxing match. Hanging a picture on the wall for rocky probably would of brought back the memories of what happen to apollo and his condition from today because of drago hitting him so head in the head and everything. And peep how rocky sits at a different table and doesn't sit with him. The anger and tension is still there.

That fight doesnt hold golden memories for him like the others did. That was a very personal and violent grudge match for revenge. He fought Drago out of responsibility and a sense of honor and rage. It was an ugly fight for the reasons of why he even had the bout in the first place. He wouldnt have pictures of it around his house as a trophy or reminder of anything. It would disrespect who he is and what that fight meant. He would likely want to forget about it.

I knew their little conversation wasn't exactly gonna be too friendly ever since Rocky defeated him years ago. Also just like when Apollo first saw the news about Drago on TV and made up his mind to fight him and there was no stopping him, Adonis now saw the news about when Drago killed his father in the ring and decided to avenge him by fighting his son and of course like Apollo there was no stopping him.
