What I loved about his style was that he always found creative ways to be melodic behind the guitar, so that the bass was contributing in more ways than just being bassy. He was always adding small fills and variation in things like the verses of songs where there was more space. His bass parts really added so much depth and I felt it when he wasn't a part of Weathered's writing and recording.

God gives a poor man diamond in the rough, and it is the poor man's purpose to mine it, sculpt it and shape it until it is a jewel. Not many of us grew up with a silver spoon, although most of us are blessed even though we think otherwise. It's all about taking that lump of coal and turning it into something special. The diamond is a metaphor for your human life and your eternal soul. Prayer matters. Bettering yourself matters. Your life can change in an instant. If you believe and you're in tune, you will move mountains. Jesus is the answer. Just call out to him
