You spend a lot of time teaching the rhythm, which is extremely helpful! Excellent tutorial. I'm 63 and never learned anything about strumming. I usually just use the guitar to support my (not very good) singing. As long as there is vocals, the strumming is not that important, but with a better strumming pattern the song can be recognized even without vocals, something I've never been able toi do before. I'm still a lousy player, but a little less lousy now! :-)
