Hi Paul, the exact rhythm could be notated as a dotted quarter + an eighth + a half note.

If you listen closely , you can hear a chord change on the word "pouring" ("Clouds of Mystery pouring" ). It's the same with the word "fable" ("Caught up in the fable"), and on the word "together" (Crowds have rushed together"). The chord that is actually used is a B7 chord, and not a B minor that's being promoted today. This was the first song I learned on the guitar and still have the copy of the words and chords that were reprinted by permission back in the early 1970's while it was still fairly popular on the radio.

jkehew1 After I posted that, I found the source I was thinking of and it too says Bm. I'm trying to find where I saw B7 listed as being the chord. I remember it because I hadn't been playing guitar for very long and when I saw it took 4 fingers instead of just 2 or 3, I sat there feeling overwhelmed! :) I apologize for any confusion. As a side note (♪) B7 is a good substitute as it keeps the sound of the song in more of a major sounding (I guess that's what it could be called) sound .

You make a good point, Kevin. I would say it's accessible for a beginner, and it's clear and understandable. It's not that the videos in this series are easy, it's that there really aren't good songs that are much easier than this. A beginner might as well start with these!
