A little clip from my drone exploration of Cottonwood Creek, which runs through Guthrie Oklahoma and empties into the Cimarron River. The reddish color of the water is the result of the high iron content of central Oklahoma's sandy clay soil. I think it's pretty.

Lovely! for a brief instant I thought this was India! The soil is a very similar shade of orange, the river gets quite muddy during the monsoon, with likewise very bright greens!

Oh wow, I had no idea! This makes me want to visit India even more now. I wonder of the soil has a similar scent. Oklahoma dirt smells a little rusty and a little sweet, like amber.

Calming elements of sound and water. When water has been a destructive force lately it’s nice to see this scene with the bridge work and how the music creates a sense of how peaceful this terrain is

It was such a peaceful morning, I'm glad that came across. A lazily flowing creek at the beginning on summer. I was very pleased that the white bird made an appearance.
