Awesome outing for some sandies. I was hoping to see more on the fly rod. I’m going to try and head out Sunday. Doing the same, spinning rod and fly rod.

Fly Fishing for SPAWNING White Bass in a BEAUTIFUL CLEAR Creek! kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6Spq5WeecZmrpo Usually run a 6-8 wt rod. Usually carry 2, one with floating line and one with sinking line. Usually just throw clousers, vary the color and size depending on what they like!

Where are you? I’m from Norman and have a lot of trouble finding creeks to fly fish in within a 2 hour drive

I was fishing a creek flowing into Lake Eufaula. Texoma and Murray have some good creeks, but still a little ways a way from Norman. You might hit up JD Adams and Co. out of OKC. They could probably point you to some good local water around there!
