Watching you fish with that ok’ cane pole sure does bring back some great memories of when I was just a young boy. I’m 60 years old now, and I made the mistake of getting caught up with the latest and greatest fishing gadgets. My next pole may just have to be a 10’ piece of bamboo... Thank you so much for reminding me of those kinder similar days.💕

I'm glad you're making Catfishing videos, it brings back a lot of childhood memories when that's all I fished with was a two piece cane pole with 20 LB test line and a thin wired hook. I could fish in some snaggy places and if I got hung up I could pull back on the pole and straighten that wire hook out get my rig back.

Fish being stronger in creeks makes sense because they are constantly dealing with current, therefore making them stronger swimmers and fighters.

Nice, love the creeks, there is a little creek and i mean little about 20 miles south of my home that runs into the Ohio river outta the woods starting about 15 miles back in the hills. I was down there one day about noon and started fishin with salad shrimp. Catching channel cat 2 foot long and longer all day. there was so many of them in there my brother who I lost this past year was walking across some rocks and stepped on ones head thinkin it was a rock. Just laying in slightly rapid shallow water and when that fish jumped under his foot he went down in the creek. lol I'll never forget that day. Very hard creek to fish because there aren't many access points from the road and it runs through a lot of private property but an old buddy of mine used to own a nice long stretch down there and that is where we was fishing that day. Killin channel cat in 3 to 4 foot of water in most of the deepest spot in creek not more than 25 foot wide. We caught a lot of other fish in that creek also. a spillway from monroe lake in monroe county Ohio feeds one fork of that creek. simply called Sunfish creek. the mouth is in clarington Ohio into the Ohio river and the creek has a fork in it like i said about 15 miles back at the bottom of the hill from Woodsfield Ohio where monroe lake is. What a beautiful creek. thanks for the videos, you have my favorite fishin channel.

That little creek is still running hard. It finally stopped raining up here for the last few weeks and turned off dry like August usually is here. Daddy used to say that the very first thing I’d do when he took me bank fishing was fall in and get muddy from head to toe. Used to make him so mad. I don’t know why.
