@@richardsagrit7153 I prefer to see everything. It's a way to learn as I am still learning fishing. I want to see the snags, the catches, the line breaking etc. I can tie a few nots and I can catch fish but learning what kind of weight, line, hook etc helps. Like Fishermans Life breaks it all down

I grew up in Northern Upstate New York, I love rainbow trout, if yall never had it fresh out of the water like that, you don't know what you are missing. In my opinion, the best fish you will ever catch and eat!!

Hell yeah. When I was a kid I would always fish with my dad for rainbow trout at ponds. Best and fastest fricking meal in your palms! It was great and tasted amazing. You sure know that buddy. Trout has to be one of the best fish that you can make into a meal!

Fantastic videos. Beautiful trout. A cooking tip: you'll get better, more even crisping *AND* faster cooking, if you space out the food a bit in the pan. Just cook 'em in a few batches. Eat the first batch while you cook up your second!

I agree! The trout cheek is considered a delicacy. You loose a lot of meat with a fillet. Trout is one fish you leave the skin on. This one was big for the pan so a filet may have worked out better. Cook over a fire and save money and gear. Gut/clean on a nice flat rock.

I love your channel! In the winter the videos get me excited for warmer weather and opening day.The Catch & Cook video is a nice change from your typical videos. A couple of ideas for you. How about a Hike & Fish where you use a topographic map to find good locations? How about some videos on fishing farm ponds and small public parks waters? How about fishing at night? Joe Humphreys has a video about catching a big fish at night. How about a video with you fishing with your Dad? Or about fishing with kids? How about a video where you Camp & Fish? Also other pro tip -- when frying w/ olive oil, a pan sear is the best to expect, it's a low smoke point oil. Use avocado or coconut for heat like frying nuggets.
