This is nothing short of a masterpiece IMO. I think Haley is one of the most underrated artists of the last decade. There is lots of great stuff on the PMJ channel, but this particular one will always be my personal favorite.

She is underrated because hardly anyone has heard of her, let alone having ever heard her sing, and that's because she remains unsigned and independent. However, I think she is getting closer to signing a record deal.

@@theblackdog2399 I did hear or read that she did end up signing with a mid level music label. Can't remember the details. When she signed right after Idol she had a bad experience and decided against signing with any other label. Although many people haven't heard of her yet, she's said she's happier doing things her way. And she doing very well financially. She made a kids movie with Netflix. Not the kind of movie you'd watch without kids, but she got her part as super hero and sang in it. Watch a few interviews where she talks about what happened and why she happier without any labels until recently.

Postmodern Jukebox ( PMJ ) is a rabbit hole! The have over 380 videos. If you want to view something interesting, take a look at their "library". . . . . Pick out a song that you hate and watch PMJ's version. One of my favorites is the "turd song" "Oops, I Did It Again" by Brittney Spears. "Toxic" is also pretty good, now.

She impresses on multiple covers with PMJ, and is a favorite guest vocalist with this band. I hope you react to more PMJ Another artist that sings with PMJ you really should check out is Morgan James. She's so phenomenal. And Postmodern Jukebox as a whole is fantastic! But this is the best cover of this song EVER... and probably my favorite cover of any song. Incredible! You should check out another collabo with her and PMJ of Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun... Exceptional!

I love both PMJ and Haley Reinhart. As others have suggested, they also collaborated on "Seven Nation Army", which was another great one. Haley did an amazing cover of "White Rabbit" on one of her own albums that I can highly recommend. ETA: PMJ also did an excellent vintage reimagining of "Dream On" with Morgan James

Haley had a hit with the Elvis Presley classic "Can't Help Falling in Love" which was actually recorded for an Extra Gum advertisement. It's worth checking both the ad itself and Haley in the studio recording the song for the ad.

Great voice. You should listen to All About that Bass and Seven Nation Army. Also, Mad World, all from PMJ (Post Modern Jukebox) which feature or include Haley. Also, Dream On from PMJ with Morgan James who is also in All About that Bass with Haley and Ariana Savalas (daughter of actor Telly Savalas). Yes this was recorded in one take. Hailey was sick and had to be talked into recording by Scott Bradley(pianist). PMJ does vintage covers of modern songs and occasionally modern concerts of vintage songs

In 2011 Haley came in 3rd place in American Idol,!! Her voice is beautiful very jazzy!! You should check "Free" "Undone".PMJ is known for reworking popular modern music into different vintage genres, especially early 20th century.

Many consider Haley to be PMJ's best singer. It's hard to argue with that because she's phenomenal and NOBODY sane could deny that but my favorite is Morgan James. Both should be at the top of the charts for the rest of their lives.

HAP3SPEAKZ, you are a great guy! In fact, you are one of my top three reactors, along with ML Floyd and CeCi Dover. You do a great technical analysis with a little entertainment thrown in. You are youngish when estimating musical periods, though. Most reactors tend to think that life began in the '40s the '50s. But, actually, some music is sung today began in the early 1900's. Another suggestion would be to check the background of any person with outstanding opera quality breath control (especially with the name Haley Reinhart).

I like Haley and I can appreciate this kind of jazzy / big band rendition.
