Simply awesome! I have been overwhelmed by the total talent of these new aquariums, aquascaping, vivariums and paludariums. Its the kinda stuff that can take up many many hours and I just see myself less concerned with hiking or even ecotourism trips sometimes.

Thanks! Sometimes I let my canary bird come here on a visit, he enjoys the water moisture and the warmth coming from the lamps, as well as dabbling in the river.

What a wonderful paludarium. Congratulations, really beautiful

Both. The snails are living mainly in the river of paluarium, but I also feed puffers with snails from another aquarium.

@jonnipuma0012 жыл бұрын
a few more questions... About the stones, did you glue them together somehow? and what kind of paint or glue did you use on the plastic sheet you used as a stream and waterfall?
@ArmandsKoncus12 жыл бұрын
The canary don't live there constantly. He arrives here for a few times a day. :)
@jonnipuma0012 жыл бұрын
yes, ive studied your images intensely :) a question,,, were did you hide the pump intake ? is it beneath all the rocks ?

Are the snails that the puffers are eating living in the paludarium, or do you add them as food?
@MvpBouck11 жыл бұрын
Around how much did it cost you to put this together? And did you make the tank yourself? It looks outstanding!

Why did this end. It needs to be like 12 hours long. MAKE MORE!!!

@jonnipuma00, It is between the rear wall and the rocks of the right land part. Here you can see it: zooistaba.id.lv/en/gallery/paludarija-tapsana/udens-sukna-paslepsana After installing it in the right place, I put one flat rock on its top to hide the pump completely.

How do the puffers not demolish every single shrimp and snail in the paludarium?? This looks beautiful by the way :)
@ArmandsKoncus12 жыл бұрын
@jonnipuma00, Not all stones are glued together, only those, who didn't hold in the right place. Both for stones and plastic I used aquarium silicone and building foam.

Hi your paludarium is amazing.I went to look for the build proces in the gallery on your site and i can see only the miniatures, could you somehow send me the build pics to grisa29@gmail.com if you have them somewhere ? Thx alot
No, I hate fake plants. There are Cyclamen persicuman and Philodendron scandens oxycardium.

Admin Panpa, it's a canary.
@AdminPanpaMizah9 жыл бұрын
Armands Končus Thanks dude. İs it still alive? Im asking because ım thinking about same idea "bird in paludarium" :)
@ArmandsKoncus9 жыл бұрын
Admin Panpa He is not alive anymore, but he has never been kept in there. The paludarium is open type, he flew there when he wanted to (1-2 times per day). Now I have another canary, and he is doing the same thing. :) I would't recommend keeping a bird in a closed paludarium.
@AdminPanpaMizah9 жыл бұрын
Armands Končus Hmmm. Are closed paludariums have any trouble for birds? Like air, breathing etc. Because my paludarium isnt open type, its close type.
@ArmandsKoncus9 жыл бұрын
Admin Panpa The moisture level will be too high for them, they will get ill very soon.
@AdminPanpaMizah9 жыл бұрын
Armands Končus Hmm, okay dude, thanks. Then ı must leave bird idea in paludarium :/
