In that video she talks about a crazy stalker fan that acts really nice to her face and then harasses and slanders her behind her back. Very self-deprecating and aggressive, but sometimes the stories she covered were interesting, so I stuck around. Kinda regret that these days LMAO. I even gave her the benefit of the doubt at first about Amy, thinking that she WAS a real person but had nothing to do with this. Turns out I just need to stop having faith in people like her, because even that ended up being wrong. This whole thing is just such a mess, and I wish the best for Emily and everyone else Shannon was 'friends' with. Edit: Also a minor technical frustration I've had with her videos is that she uses an art program called Procreate fairly often, which has a built in timelapse recorder that starts recording every single time you open a new canvas. You have to manually switch it off if you don't want to use it. This recorder shows the timelapse without all of your zooms, rotations, color and layer windows... It keeps the canvas centered and actually watchable, and you can export as either a 30 second timelapse or the full recording in real time. Shannon LITERALLY has to go out of her way to use a screen recorder to keep in all of her zooms and rotations and whatnot. Always drove me a little crazy since the Procreate recorder could not possibly be any easier to use. Again, a small technical frustration, but :)

Peanuts once mentioned that CSA might be dealing with narcissism and, coming from someone who was a former narcissist, I think that is very possible. How CSA presents herself is how she sees herself. I have no doubt she had tried to justify what she did to Emily for so long and, now that she’s caught, she doesn’t want to face the music. I’m certain she’s afraid. I remember getting out of that narcissism. The first thing that happened was something like what happened to CSA, only on a smaller scale. My family had found out I was breaking their rules and doing things behind their backs that I often called out everyone else out on. I broke down in tears and prayed to God to forgive me, but being caught the way I was, was something I needed. CSA needs this. Being caught online isn’t enough. She needs to be tried in a court of law for this. That’s the only way she can change, if she is dealing with narcissism.

Okay but can I just say how happy I am to see someone that isn't entirely focused on specifically where Shannon has fucked up and uses language that blames both Shannon AND her husband. There's so many videos about this that they've been recommended by youtube to me because I watched a few near the beginning, and while I'm happy in general to listen to these in general in the background while I'm drawing, but one thing I noticed was how so many people barely mentioned the clearly abusive psycho that is Andrew or whatever his name is. I definitely think Shannon fucked up, she needs to be held accountable, this is NOT okay. But like, he needs to be held accountable too, and I'm just happy that someone mentioned that BOTH of them are doing this, that he's more than just a background character in this, that he's just as much, if not more of a monster than Shannon might still be. I had a really strange realization. CreepShow and Emily are the opposites of how one handles a situation. Emily had drug addiction, the pick-me girl attitude, mental health, and many other things I'm blanking on. Emily looked in the mirror and started putting in the work. CreepShow has done some stupid crap and does everything the complete opposite of Emily: she deflects, she blames others, she tried to make others look bad, and denies all she has done. CreepShow will not look in the mirror because she knows she won't like what she sees and she probably doesn't want to fix herself because she doesn't see an issue. It's just kind of wild to see two almost parallels in the situation.

I dunno I really feel like Amy was Shannon's preemptive attempts to try to frame Emily later on if Emily ever came forward. But it's also possible that she came up with that name subconsciously as a way to cope with her own actions. I know it is common for these type abusers to feel like the people they are stalking are the one in the wrong, and they are forcing them to do these actions, I dunno though. There is definitely enough evidence circumstantial or not to think Amy isn't a real person and that Creepie was to some extent a part of the continued harassment of Emily.
