@@glamdolly30 I actually believe this story was wrapped up neatly without many plotholes. The tape that is recorded is destroyed when it flies out and the TV Is also destroyed. This explains a lot in regards to the lack of evidence behind this story which makes it more believable and real to the listener.

Ok but wait this sounds really similar to a real (or, y'know, "real") mass-reported entity sighting, the Hat Man. Tall unnerving shadowy male figure in a coat and hat (usually a fedora or something wide-brimmed) that appears to people in the middle of the night, described by thousands around the world with remarkable similarity among accounts. (I've actually had a sighting myself long before I knew anything about paranormal stuff or had any interest, at a childhood sleepover, but that's a story for another time...) It's neat that that kind of figure is so universally creepy that people wanna write stories about it!

We were living in my aunt's house temporary while my parents were fixing the house we just got.. one night durring dinner my older cousins told me a story saying the area was cursed and that they tried to get this creature on video but Everytime they did the camera did not work.. mind you they all discribe the same creature in this video.. it's Soo weird... but I remember telling them it's not true... But they told me not to joke around about it because it will show up..they had something called hag stones not sure what it is they also had a few other weird things with them... my cousins were older then me and they were all in high school I thought they just wanted to scare me so I just laughed about it... but things started getting weird that same night I was watching the Disney channel when I felt something touch me.. I thought it was my mind but it was not it continued to happen..for about 6 months.. I even used to get night sweats... and seen this dark shadow in the opposite corner of the bed... Every night around the same time... .I have never believe in this stuff but when this started happening I thought it was weird... Around June 6 three days before my cousins birthday I got ready for bed and put the TV on to help me sleep like usual... I remember putting the TV on cartoon Network to watch .. but for some reason it was on Disney.. the show I think was life with Derk but I don't remember I just thought it was weird.. anyways I layed down as normal my grandma was next to me sleeping... I remember starting to get very sleepy taking naps in between when play house Disney was announced to start soon I used to wait for it and it was 3or 4 hours away..I think..but I don't remember the time but It used to pop up between shows... to let u know the time it started... But that night was different I felt something watching me.. but I tried to ignore it.. me falling asleep I went to close my eyes when I saw this thing standing next to me trying to grab me.. I started screaming and I jumped over my grandma to wake her up and this thing dropped everything off the dresser almost dropping the TV... it went right threw the closed door .. then it was running across the floor and went right threw the wall... I could not believe my eyes then my aunt slammed the door open and was asking me what happened I told her and she told me that it's impossible... she said it could have been a mouse but I said no...but she told me to pick the stuff off from the floor and to go back to bed...I started crying even more telling her but she didn't believe me... my cousins all woke up and came running into the room and ask me if I got a video.or if it hurt me....I said no and my aunt got very upset and hit all of us with the belt.. my cousins believed me and that night I slept in there room upstairs... they then gave me tips but promised me if they ever saw it again they will kill it... but Whatever that thing was I never saw it again since that day... I am now 21 years old... I believe this could be real.. but who knows...
