In the latest episode of Creepy Old Crypt, the show where we dust off old weird Disneyland stuff and talk about it... we discuss all the crap we bought at the park, both back then and recently.

The worst souvenir I ever got at Disney was a Native American drum at the WIilderness Lodge at WDW. When I ripped the covering, I found out the that the drum was a used, old paint can.

When I was a kid I never asked my parents for anything but in Disneyworld there was a Toy Story store and I got a super detailed, fully articulated Buzz Lightyear. I was so awesome!

my favorite piece of disneyland merch i had was a super wonky beanie of yoda wearing a mickey hat. it was knitted with little cardboard cutouts in the mickey ears to make them stand up, and fully knitted yoda ears stuck out a little bit lower. the eyes were way too far apart and it had "yoda" in fancy cursive script on the back for whatever reason. the absurdity of it, the extremely spaced apart eyes when stretched over your head, and the fact that they were just stupid enough made me and my friend want them super bad, and we had an obsession with pulling yoda's eyes over our own for pictures. we pulled the beanie over our eyes in many ride pictures, but the best was when he pulled it over his eyes and got selected in star tours, it felt like our stupid yoda joke finally made it bigtime and i was crying laughing

Most of the popcorn buckets sell simply because people buy them to sell online. It's honestly just an issue of supply and demand; Disney is both playing games and being stupid. Those things should be ridiculously plentiful because they're typical not that crazy or quality. They're not bad, and I have a ton. Hell, I even imported the unit 1 popcorn bucket from Japan (universal, I know, but I guess explaining the type of person) as well as the stitch popcorn bucket. Disney is like any company I guess, when they have gold, they fuck it up, probably because some executive says no lol

When I was really little I got a plastic hook hand from the pirates gift shop and then we went on the ride and I dropped it in the water. I was really upset and my parents got me another one and then I think we left it in the hotel or something because I didn't really like it that much. Also I chewed on it.

I really like the hats and popcorn buckets at Disney Japan. They have such ridiculous and over the top stuff and I love it. And I'm really jealous of how many cool cups that you guys get in Anaheim that are exclusive. I want that goofy ass Infinity Gauntlet sipper cup so bad.

Yo Rocco when you gonna get Brandon Jones, founder of Game Trailers and currently founder of Easy Allies on? He's a Disney nut, and said he'd do it.

Those plastic pirate cutlass swords with sheaths were always my favorite from Disneyland. I used to play with it for months and months until it finally broke and I wanted nothing more than on the next trip to buy another sword.

I'm the same way, I love merch that looks more like a prop or from that world than branded stuff - you know how much I would pay for the merch that was in Jurassic Park instead of the stuff we actually got?

I got the AT-AT popcorn bucket, it’s fully articulated so I considered it a toy that came with free popcorn.

To this day, I'm obsessed with attraction specific merchandise, especially subtle things. I have a personal collection of attraction posters and different signs and figures depicting scenes from different attractions. My favorite shirt is one they released through their now defunct clothing line 28 & Main about 3 to 4 years ago for the Matterhorn Summit Expedition Team. I still look out for cool stuff like that.

44:27 They use that RF technology at Sanrio Puroland in Japan! My little sister bought a light up wand and it synced with the parade lightshow. It was insanely cool, I had no idea Disney used to do this.

I’m the first guy to be pumped about Hook getting the respect it deserves, but holy balls. That movie’s sets stand out on DVD, 4K could look horrendous if they aren’t careful.

I aim for cool figures or small collectibles if I like it I might buy it. Mostly Star Wars/ Tomorrowland stuff peaks my interests. I also enjoy prop stuff or in-universe merch too. Kudos for this vid btw!

Creepy Old Crypt is my absolute favorite series that you guys as a collective Mega64 have ever done, solely because my entire childhood was spent fawning over the Disney parks. When I found out that one of the best surrealist comedians online is into the same realm of interest as I am really made me smile. Keep on kicking ass, Rocco

My Partner and I went to Disney recently and we bought a bulk of pins off ebay real cheap just to trade in the park. We had a great time just chatting with employees and trading for pins we liked! And we didn't end up buying any new ones! It was perfect.
