As a French kid I went to Disneyland Paris and Parc Astérix. The latter was smaller and more charming, Disneyland always felt giant and intimidating. That being said going to it really felt like traveling into another world. Also as a 5 year old the phantom manor was genuinely terrifying.

I went to Disneyland Paris 2 days ago, it was awesome, I've never been to any Disneyland before. Mark Twain is still not functional and it was still under a huge tent decorated to look like an old barn, I could see a tiny part of it under the covers and it looked like it was still rotting away. I'm glad I didn't go to Disneyland studios, Ratatouille was the only thing I wanted to see and it was closed down a couple days before I was due to go. PS - I couldn't fucking find any damn Corn nuggets and I was looking all day.
