Here, we have a railway called "nordium express". They just retired an older train and replaced it with a newer gt2 train. And ive seen the newer one running. The older one has been retired unfortunately due to maintenance issues regarding flat tyre, and controller swaps.

interestinly this particular train line (Kyiv Urban Rail/Kyiv City Express) has been updated and now the rolling stock is in a good condition and it's running on time. However most other suburban trains are about the same
