If you like shooter games, you should try Destiny 2. If you decide to start playing & have any trouble with the new player experience. Feel free to give me a shout & I'd be happy to help you through it. My Bungie ID is DaddyMo444#9840. I didn't play D1 & I regret it because I love D2 so much. Honestly the new player experience can be overwhelming. Because of this,I like to go to the Cosmodrome(it's where you start) & find new guardians. Then I'll take em through the 1st few missions & help em obtain some decent starter weapons. All while teaching them how to know what to do next & the basic mechanics of the game.

The method of obtaining the initial pristine armor set was actually posted on Reddit, not long after launch iirc... but most people didn't want to do it because of their characters' veteran status from D1. I actually did it after switching to PC when it launched a month later, since cross-save didn't exist yet, but deleted the set after a while.

Thank you for keeping the magic of the game alive, and your elegant way of doing it. I got stuck on Warmind, actually looking for armour-statistics, and got stuck on seeing how many have "Ghoul", compared to the number of people who have "Transcendent"... 69,000 people felt like enduring literal torture, including myself, instead of playing the campaign, which is 29,000 people... I love this game, so much, and I am so sad that Bungie is letting it die, in so many ways... A note to add for a weapon that people probably do not remember. During the Warmind era of Destiny 2. There was the quest you had to do for Polaris Lance called Data recovery. Which for that you had to start out with a basic legendary Scout rifle called the braytech rwp mk. ii. Given this, you would then upgrade it to a masterwork version which, surprisingly gave it a magazine increase of one. After you got the Exotic version of the weapon, I am sure there are many who decided to just delete the legendary version of it. Given how the quest is no longer do-able, this version of the weapon as far as I am aware is no longer obtainable. So my version in the vault sits as a reminder of the vaulting of old content and different times.

Instead of waiting until before ghaul kicks you off and you then get the damaged armor, you wait until after and your ghost has a completely unique animation, that's a hidden ghost shell. In your inventory it looks like an ordinary "Last City Shell (Damaged)" shell but it comes with the animation of looking like it went through Vietnam. I don't use it all the time bc my ghost is not a sad fella but i do keep it on me at all times.

as a long time destiney player a bad one at that,i have learnt more about this game in just one video after watching hundreds over the years.and it felt so easy to sit there for one and a half hours it just flew by,for this you should get your own emblem.well done

I've never played Destiny, always wanted to but my schedule was always chaotic and still is, so I never could jump on with anyone reliably. But the absolute sense of community has floored me, I love this community I was never able to be a part of.

What a great piece of history this video is, with a truly heartfelt ending that makes me feel proud to be a part of the destiny community. We are taking a big hit by losing you as a creator in this space, but I appreciate all you've done to help me learn and grow throughout my destiny life. I wish you nothing but success in your future endeavors and hope you'll continue to play even if it's not your main thing anymore. Again, I'm sure I speak on behalf of a lot of us when I say thank you again for all your hard work and dedication put into helping the community. Your journey has been awesome to watch, and this is an excellent homage as a final video. Thanks!

I love this video, especially the sections talking about the positive effects Destiny has brought to the community. Sometimes the world feels overwhelmingly cold, but it's all worth it for the moments of beauty we create as a community. There is still good in this world. Thank you ❤️

SwissJohn1: I was there from the beginning, countless hours on PlayStation playing D1 through to the current day in D2. I did until recently have one of the original ships in the vault but like all of the other gear was deleted for more room for newer stuff. Had some great times over the years and still doing so now even at 67.

I'll miss your content and I'm sad to say I probably never left a comment before not expecting a departure. Thank you for all of your work on this amazing game that has brought back some humanity to us all. And remember, eyes up guardian.

This turned out to be a much more wholesome Video than I expected. Well done! I might even have contributed something. 2-3 Seasons ago I got a 0 Power Bow from trials - it didn‘t even get raised to Final Shape‘s minimum PL.

I haven’t played D2 in probably 2-4 years and just logged in and realized I have the whole scorched hunter set. Damn it’s just weird how you just know that something one day might be important or interesting.
