I mean I don't think anyone thought Providence was as good as their ranking. Luckiest team in the nation per KenPom, and it shows. They'd have a losing record in the SEC.

There's a lot of people here who don't know that creigbton is going to be a perennial top 15 or a top 10 team for the next couple years. All of there key contributors except 1 player, Hawkins are either freshman or sophomores.

Alex O'Connell while being very athletic and talented goes missing for games and makes extremely low iq plays. Sure he is a good kid but he was not an impact player for most of their games.

As far as returning talent goes. Nembhard freshman, kaluma freshman, Alexander freshman. Rati redshirt freshman. Kaulkbrenner is a sophomore. This does not include Mason Miller, the Tennessee Gatorade player of the year and son of longtime nba player sniper Mike Miller. He redshirted this year and will be back next year.

Creighton returns Kaluma, Alexander, Nembhard and Kalkbrenner - they have to replace Hawkins (and loose O'Connell's production). Given the rest of the roster - I think CU needs to bring a big that can ball handle like Hawkins and another wing player (hopefully both can shoot 3s). If they do that - they should challenge for the Big East title.

Not sure which play you're referring to, but the real glaring travel that wasn't called was at 2:47 (in the very last play shown), where the Providence guard is taking the ball up the court and commits a massive change of direction carry. Three steps without a dribble...
