Fun fact about Noggenfogger’s elixir: Druids can shapeshift and still be a skeleton. Consequently, if a druid is in flying form, then they’ll be a skeleton swimming through the air

My favorite pointless skeleton is at the Darkmoon Faire. Over by the Blight Boar cave, there's an outhouse with a male Forsaken dancing on the roof, and a male Draenei knocking on the door. If you look through the moon cutout, you can see a skeleton sitting in the outhouse. I go see him every month.

you know Crendor num.10 still has a questline even in current WoW . the quest line is now from cataclysm and what happen to that guy was that he went to explore to see if people where ok from the massive quake that happen during Death Wing's attack but he gets killed off by the offspring of the deadly bear from Classic and you are sent to check on him when you find his dead body the bear suddenly attacks you and you have to kill the bear and bring proof of what happen to him to his friend that ask you to check on him.

The troll skeletons could be a reference to Pirates of the Caribbean. In the first movie the entire reason why the crew is cursed, is because of some ancient Aztec gold. And of course the curse turns them into skeletons. Since the troll empire is based on ancient Aztec and Mayan culture, it could be an Easter egg reference.

So the tree trunk skeleton could be a person who ran away from Alterac during the Second War. If memory serves the nobles of Alterac betrayed the Alliance and allowed the Horde to move through their land. This person could have been afraid of what was occurring and ended up starving to death in their hiding spot after finding out what was going on. It's been a long time since I've read lore regarding the Second War so I could potentially be wrong about it. Otherwise just a thought!

WoW is sublime for the average player not when pushing damage meters, raiding, or doing high-end PvP or other endgame content. Instead, people's fond nostalgia of WoW generally comes from idiosyncratic experiences, questing in beautiful and quirky landscapes, with moving and calming music-- living in the world. And Pointless Top 10 captures that sublimity perfectly.

The zem'lan skeletons is pretty cool, each and every one is named and most are ranked. The elevator skeleton actually makes sense, in the Grom Hellscream short from WoD, the ogres use a similar punishment on Grom to break him, starvation and thirst while hung up. This skeleton could have been a rebel or a rival of one of the rulers of Highmaul that disposed of the problem.

Marrow is the king skellie. I would also like to mention the dudes hiding under the veggies in the fields around Andorhal. You try to pick a pumpkin or an apple, and up comes a skellie with the fruit on its head. Most adorable ever.

With the elevator skeleton, it could have been an Ogre that they tied to it then had the elevator push down on him so hard that the spike on the bottom impaled him. Can't imagine any other way you'd get a spike through him, it takes a lot of force to impale a normal human let alone an Ogre.

I like the skeletons in the island expeditions in BFA on the island with the abandoned Horde base. They all died fighting an unknown foe that did not even take the supplies or anything else in the base. They were simply attacked, annihilated and forgotten. Left where they fell to be consumed.
