i am trying to use these methods on creo parametric 6.0 student edition and i am not able to view the obj file. Any solutions on that?

A lot of functionality especially with regards to data exchange is disabled in the student version, so the answer is no.

Oh okay thank you for your reply, so should i purchase some version or software from ptc in order to proceed with the obj file? if you happen to know which software i would really appreciate it.

@@stealex3082 You would probably need the commercial license of the software. But be aware you won't be able to open any files that you created in the student version in the commercial version. At least that was the way it was years ago. The student version is not meant for commercial work of any type.

@@CADPLMGuy That is all fine thank you! However, the commercial packages are 5, so is the design essentials (cheaper) ok for what i need it or do i need to go for any other package? Other packages are can be found in the ptc website with the specifications! Again thank you for all the guidance, it has been really difficult to navigate the issue.

All packages support OBJ files. I think I made that video using Design Essentials. (I've since upgraded.)
