50g Cake flour
15g Sugar
1 Egg (60g)
120g Milk
10g Butter (unsalted)
1 pinch of salt
Sauce
1 Orange (with pleasant aroma)
150 - 200ml Orange juice
20g Sugar
20g Butter
10 - 20ml Cointreau (up to you)
10ml Grand Marnier (up to you)

I've spent 20 + years as an educated trained professional chef in NY, and although I can cook (and anybody really can) this takes the art to the next level. It's the knife skills, measure of detail, level of accuracy that is most impressive to me. Cooking is easy for the most part, but the talent that goes into preparing these dishes is a whole different world that most do not have. I've seen a lot in my time, but this sort of talent is pretty amazing to me. I've always been impressed with Japanese culture, studied it for many years and watching this it's no wonder why. Dude your awesome!

He *may* be a good chef somewhere but his *show* makes me believe the opposite. If he is so good, why would he need to yell and belittle? If someone behaves that way I have no respect for them and I don't want to watch it in the hopes of finding anything I could respect about them. I have better things to do with my time - like watching Jun's kitchen! :D

@@Kirmeins Maybe Masterchef Junior is more to your liking? That show shows Gordon's silly and mentoring personality better. He also has told a few times that his act is merely a persona which he brings out in front of chefs he expects to do better. A personal favourite of mine are his traveling series, where Ramsey goes around the world to experience new cuisines. It shows that he is very willing to learn and is not afraid to being criticised himself.

When I cook some pasta and heat up some premade sauce, some would call that cooking, but it's definitely not art. This however is. Not just the cooking, but the filming and presenting of it too. I could do some crepes, I could make some caramel-orange-sauce. I could scoop ice on that. Could I handle the burning pan? Probably not. Could I handle pouring burning liquid over an orange I'm holding? Of course not. Could I transport a burning glass and pour the burning liquid over a plate, without the ice on it melting away and without setting the house on fire? I don't want to even think about trying. Could I calmly film this and then edit it beautifully? Not if my life depended on it. So that's why this *is* art.

Sorry for the long wait! :( I'll start uploading more often!...hopefully! :) This time I got Japanese oranges for juicing and didn't want to mix with other type of oranges but I normally squeeze the orange I used to get the aroma of the skin and add that orange's juice, too. You can also just add thinly shredded orange skin in the butter and mix them into the sauce as well. And, the amount of alcohol you add is up to you! Anyway, thank you for watching!

So I happened upon an old Boston school of cooking book in an antique store (1943), and had to purchase it. I’m not a trained chef by any means, in fact I’d consider myself an amateur at best. I was flipping through the pages and happened to spot a Crepes recipe. Underneath the instructions was a variation called Crepes Suzette, and after reading that section, I had to find a video of this amazing dish being made, needless to say, you inspired me to keep practicing cooking. I hope to someday cook effortlessly as you appear to, as I do enjoy successfully preparing a difficult dish, thanks for showing your skills!
