@CBF1 I'm hoping to get the ball rolling in that Crescent Park buys a copy of the other recent W165 rolls I have commissioned so far that is in addition to 6880 and 6891. I've talked it over with Ben Schwartz, who regularly visits this sick Ruth and it's carousel.

@CBF1 6880 is the very first 165 roll I commissioned Andy Park to arrange for me back in 2017, and it features many popular hits from rocks golden times as you already know.

The band organ will need another repair again. I hear several notes and pipes not playing when they are supposed to play. Bass drum isn't working either. One of the rolls playing was Wurlitzer 165 Roll 6880, an Andrew Lardieri commission(he is a Wurlitzer 165 fanatic like me, he's in New Jersey and he is a "Tune-Smith" for the W165 rolls referred to as by Glenn Thomas, a W165 owner). Another tune playing was Scatter Brain(from an original Wurlitzer Roll). Can't remember what roll it's on however. The band organ here at Crescent Park is a "38er Ruth & Sohn", simply referred to as a "38er Ruth" and it was altered to play Wurlitzer 165 rolls. It does not play it's original 96 keyless cardboard book music any more.

That's all smoke and mirrors, but thanks for mentioning me @CBF1. "Scatter-Brain" is from late Wurlitzer roll 6682 by the way. The roll you're hearing it on is 12-tune Wurlitzer 165 composite roll 6681-6682. In addition to "Scatter-Brain", the other two tunes that can be heard are "Three Little Fishies" and "The Umbrella Man".

This organ would sound a lot better playing on it's original scale!, even if it had a midi system fitted to play original book arrangements, 165 rolls never work on an organ that has 96 keys, it needs to use the whole scale.

The organ needs deep restoration for 2023, as well as the Frati Organ at the Grand Carousel in Knoebels.

I'd probably learn to tune band organs myself if I owned any. I disassemble quite a few things here and there. A few vintage toy washing machines, an around 90-year old cuckoo clock mechanism, a 64-year-old washing machine's pump(fixed that, it was clogged up with mold), and some other things.
