Crested Gecko Baby Enclosure - How to Set Up a Hatchling Bin - DIY

Your first set of Crested Gecko eggs are ready to pop any day now. But before the adorable baby New Caledonian Gecko enters this world you need to make sure the Hatchling is set up for success! In this video, we take you through how to create your very own Crested Gecko Baby enclosure. Now this set up is meant specifically to help you manage your new baby reptile. It's very affordable, easy to clean, and above all easy for the baby Crested Gecko to hunt and find it's food. This is the same set up we use at Guardians of the Geckos. We understand there are many ways to do these set ups, but over our years of experience breeding ciliatus, we find this way enclosure to be the best for us and the gecko.

Great tips for raising baby geckos. Ive watched all your videos. We have about 200 crested geckos ourselves, plus many other new caledonians. Aspiring youtuber....but, our place would not work for doing videos till we get a house. I would love to see you guys do a new gecko room tour!

I am a big fan of yours I have a question If I would breed with my male and female And I make a setup like that for my baby crested geckos like you guys made but with the lid on do I have to see if there is more ventilation or is it okay if I stick in front of a grill and make a few holes from behind? This is old so you might know this already, but if you put a block of wood underneath where your drilling you can drill as hard or wherever you want with very minimal chance of cracks/spidering

Yes, Thats The Perfect Size For A Baby, You Should Upgrade Him/Her To A 12, 12, 18 At Around A Year Old Them After That You Can Upgrade Them To An 18, 18, 24 But That Is Not Needed, And Are You Going To The Daytona NARBC? Or A Different Show?

i got a 20 gallon for a baby. huge mistake. it doing fine but u have to supply multiple food sources to help i don't know exact weights but when the are about half your hand(wrist to middle of palm) tail NOT included you can move them over but if u get a tank just don't make the plants go up very high they can't climb glass that is wet well so they can only climb as high as the plants let them

They say to keep a baby in a smaller tank until they are able to fully know where their food is. then slowly upgrade.

10-20 grams is when u want to upgrade to the next step enclosure, or possibly the permanent. If you don’t weigh ur reptiles: in simpler terms when they reach they’re sub adult size. This should have answered your question in all aspects.
