Everyone needs to watch the Rob Rides podcast with the creators of this bike. They literally went from design to full blown mass sales in a year. Crazy listen

i doubt the weight savings was intentional, it's just a more trail friendly bike. Sick design though.

The only bike in existence that does this job like it does!!!!! Why not have more travel on your e bike?

I've put my KSL to 180 / 190 with fox 40s. Unreal at fort bill. Might be over biked on local trails. Loses its fun factor a bit and defo lacks maneuverability on steep tight trails

Nice looking bike. Bosch needs to update their app so you can have multiple Bosch e-mtb's on one device without having to completely log out. Should be able to choose which bike you're riding.

Seems reasonable to me!

Great review! How does it compare to the Yeti 160e that you all have? Thanks
@WorldwideCyclery21 күн бұрын
Thanks! Motor wise, the latest Bosch motor feels quite a bit more refined than the Shimano on the Yeti, and the lack of rattling noise on the downhill is very nice. Both bikes are very capable on the downhills but I would give the edge to the Crestline. I feel like with how good the geometry and suspension platform is, plus with the extra travel, you can really push hard on the way down and it is extremely confidence inspiring. It also has some nice little features like an accessory mount underneath the top tube, 29 & MX configurations, adjustable travel and headset adjustments... but with that said you are certainly paying a little more for a new Crestline than a 160E, if that matters to you. It's a tough call! Hope this helps!

Looks like a Santa Cruz. Curious if it rides similar.

High I currently have Marzocchi's Bomber Z2 forks and am wondering if you think I should change to the Fox 34 forks, because I know that fox owns the brand and you know so much about mountain bikes.

No size specific chainstay length, so guess what, size large is size medium with longer frontend. If you are asking for a top notch price at least provide a top of the line geometry not something you botched together as an after thought
@crestlinebikes24 күн бұрын
All our smallest size options come setup MX and thus have a shorter rear end to balance the smaller geo. You have the choice of either once you move to RH3 depending on if you are running it in the short or long setting when it comes to front center and when you get to RH4 we ship only as 29/29, again this is since its needs a longer rear end to be balance correctly. So in short, not only do we have size dependent chainstay lengths but we also have size dependent rear wheel sizes.

Find me one ebike with a chainstay that's suitable for tall riders. This is the only ebike that I would buy. Most have 435 / 440 chainstays with reach of 500+. They suck. This is the best ebike on the planet hands down. Apologise to me and Crestline please
