Most people who know me know that I lost my leg in an industrial accident in a cardboard baling machine, but most people don’t actually know the full story of why I was in the machine, what went wrong, etc. Until now.
As always, thanks for watching. Make sure to subscribe to my channel, and be sure to check out all my socials including Facebook, TikTok, and more at the link below:

@@christopherbarrette7686 A HORSE FARM ? Where do I sign up for work as a helper/ cleaner/ trainee / whatever for a bit of pocket money and a room to stay and maybe a meal once a day ? No I'm not 14 .....I'm over 40. But still . Cleaning leather or boxes while it's raining and the only noise is stomping and chewing and the smell of hay is the best feeling ever.

He was in shock many military servicemen and women act the same after being horribly injured, it can cause your death if you lose it or be a massive help like in this case where he was so calm, his call resonated with everyone because if this happened to us we would like to think we would have they words for our mother, you are so right about it being inspirational it’s one of the most inspirational calls I have ever heard the can you pray with me and his confession of his horrible sins (probably as minor as any criminal could dream of yet horrible to him not even a misdemeanour 😂) I was just rooting for him and so happy he survived and wow how he has took his second chance at life YES TRULY INSPIRATIONAL

Really interesting to hear the story from your point of view! I heard a retelling of it on Let's Read's channel ages ago and then listened to the 911 call, have been subscribed to your channel ever since. Honestly kudos to you for being able to get yourself out of the machine so quickly, call for help, and remain so calm the whole time - I can't imagine how much shock and pain you must have been in. Screw that company for being so irresponsible and completely disregarding yours and everyone else who worked there's safety. But your story and channel are really inspirational, I'm glad you're doing well and the accident didn't stop you from living a basically "normal" life. 🙌

I religiously listen to "let's read" podcast and he covered your story, as a widow of a firefighter and a trainee firefighter myself I can't imagine how strong you are and how scary that was, I am so overjoyed you survived and are living the best life possible. You are so strong and amazing, we are glad you are here and we love you.

I didn't hear the whole call, but my heart was going out to you. I had to look you up. Idk if this is the best possible outcome, but I'm glad your still here thumping the ground with one good foot!

Damn dude, it will never not be crazy to me that every little thing in this story led to one thing after another, perfectly connecting the dots that led to you losing a led. Nobody can predict the future and you definitely acted way more calm than I would’ve in that same situation, glad I listened to your story and I hope 2023 and beyond is good to you dude 👍

WOW, so much to learn from from this incident, I'm glad to hear such a positive outcome. As an industrial medical responder I can't emphasize enough: Having an emergency plan and knowing how to apply it being the first - Including knowing where you are in order to to direct emergency (internal and external) responders! Always take emergency calls on radios seriously, ensure that proper machine guards and other safety procedures are in place to prevent these things from happening in the first place. This could have easily become a fatality if not for the actions taken by himself and those he credits with saving him. John, thanks for sharing! Enjoy life!
