It's my understanding they practiced land management as well as not sitting up their lodging next to dry foliage and they also cleared the brush. Over 8,000 fires in California in 2024, 7,800 in 2023.. it's almost as Newsome, Bass and the Fire Chief were co-conspirators in making dozens of idiotic decisions that literally ensured a catastrophic Fire would happen.
