Cameras get to where they are allowed to be by officials and by someone who wants to see things. If you have suggestions on how you would improve what is going on please tell me.

Sketchy stuff cutting rebar with all that tangle of roadway balanced above your heads. Dangerous work. Just like when they cut the bridge trusses in half when they get to Sparrows Point. With the last cut the sections could go anywhere! You have to trust your colleagues. Hats off to you guys.

Great views wondered what that mass was. Guys in that outboard didn't get paid enough!
@charlierumsfeld66266 ай бұрын
There has been a large piece of truss in the water just visible after the upper portion of it had been cut away. The cut pieces had bee just above the water line. Has that been cleared out?

Those rebar tangles are huge

Man,those must be some serious strong chains!🙀
@nuclearbum98586 ай бұрын
the question is will they build a new span and reuse the leftovers or tear the whole thing down and start over all brand new.

New design, new supports. Same route, but that's it.
@Johnboy335456 ай бұрын
That's just you thinking that, certainly not the engineers who will design and build a new bridge. Would you rebuild an old car without putting on new tires? If you crossed it every day would you want them to use the 40+ year old foundational supports?
@nuclearbum98586 ай бұрын
I'm talking about remaining ends of the bridge that was left standing not the damaged supports Mr Azz
@lazygardens6 ай бұрын
@@nuclearbum9858 The approach ramps? Probably some of it, but that depends on the design of the span across the channel how much can be incorporated.

Interesting all those melted girders around 4:10 -- all that warping and melting, but yet the big pieces didn't move to squish them. So what caused the distortions, so many, like wet noodles? 80-part series explores all known anomalies including this on the ORG an ization named "CONSPIRA"

More scrap metal for a new bridge. Only the USA can do this. What a mess?

Now, just find a new replacement bridge.
@dougclem77116 ай бұрын
The bridge did not collapse, it was knocked down by a ship that was trying to burn bunkering fuel inside U.S. territorial waters trying to save money. The fuel swap killed the engine causing the ship to knock down the bridge. The ships engineer must be arrested for violating U.S. territorial E.P.A. LAWS.

All the equipment is from the 70s or 80s. No at modern crane in sight. America has seriously underinvested for decades. Looks terribly sad.
@lazygardens6 ай бұрын
I think it's admirable that well-maintained equipment is still out there working. BTW, most of the equipment has been upgraded, overhauled and has state of the art control systems.

It's a crane, it lifts things, exactly how would a new crane expedite this process?
@Pattern-Recognition6 ай бұрын
I think it reflects that the US needs to catch up on infrastructure investment. It used to lead the world during the time when it built its national highway system - for example. If you now compare the state of its harbour or airport infrastructure to many Asian cities - the gap is huge!

These components are way to heavy for any helicopter. Biggest one can lift twenty tons in a pinch and that's russian.
