This saying " I have lived or been here for 20 plus years " and have never seen it this bad. this is becoming a common saying around the world and in the U.S. as extreme weather continues to disrupt & destroy our lives, My advice to anyone who has been through this type of situation is leave right away and find an area that you can rebuild and be safe. what do you think Thanks

And it wasn't even record rain! The Sarasota area doubled in population in the last 20 years. New construction sites everywhere! Thousands of new homes and condos and businesses. Blame our Leaders, blame our Politicians! Changing farmland into residential! For the first time every, Bradenton Raceway and Dragstrip was flooded! Why? Because of new construction sites all around and Land Clearing for future sites! Start the Lawsuits!

My advice to all in Florida if you can not afford it then you need to leave, because if you do not, there will come a time (after your have spent all your saving) when you will have no choice but to leave. So leave now while you still can.

My heart hurts watching this. I'm 5 miles from there but left to NY the day before rain started. My development did not get flooded..We survived every hurricane with no flooding, just wind damage. The cause of this is too much building by greedy developers, and greedy politicians. Desantis has to stop the over buildiing. I wish I was there so i can help some people. It's so sad. Temps are in the 90s but feel like 104⁰ Imagine having no where to go.. At least you aren’t living in Oregon! Over there! They are worse than it gets. They don’t care about floods that kill people or depression that does it that the rain gives. AT ALL! They don’t want you to know this for those who want to visit or live there. But they only care about themselves. NOT OTHERS! And they don’t care if people dye from floods or depression from rain. Thankfully for you guys! Even though I live there myself! I do care! And I’m probably one of few that live there that care enough about that! And despite the flood watches there in Florida! I’d take there over Oregon. Especially since they care better there! I’ve been to Florida before. So that is how I know!

This is terrible! I hope those rain chances decrease & stay decreased for an Extremely Long Long Time! Those floods are reason Rain Is STUPID. It’s not just floods that has killed people. It is also depression. In 2022 during the Spring in Oregon where I live! They didn’t get even 1 single week of Week Long Sunshine. We had very little Sunshine at all that year during the Spring. I was more depressed than I EVER HAVE BEEN ALL MY LIFE THAT YEAR DURING THE SPRING when the weather is supposed to be pleasant during that time. I was lucky to still be alive after Summer began that year when I finally saw the Long Lasting Sunshine. I say that! Because the rain was so depressing that year over there! I thought I was going to dye from all that depression. I KID YOU NOT! IT REALLY WAS THAT BAD. And what’s worse! People in Oregon don’t care one bit how bad it is or how people have died from floods or depression. They want people to dye. They hate everyone but themselves. They don’t show it! But I can see through their lies from how this is. So for those who read of this! I have advice for you if you ever think of visiting or living in Oregon! DON’T! They are a disgrace. And I just said the rest of why as well!
