So Mercy Housing executive management (or whoever the developer is) is responsible for the fire (insurance job)? There is no way in hell that so many of these projects nationwide over so many decades could accidentally catch fire.

Don’t understand why there has to be more money funded !?!? The construction company has to have insurance…. And when you build anything you do not give all the money upfront. Redwood City should have some of the money somewhere and the part that has already been given, the construction company will have it covered by insurance.

If they rebuild they better have 24 hour security.

My guess, a plumber torched it while soldering copper fittings for the buildings water lines. And he's probably already in Mexico.

Due to California being a 'refuge state' that guarantees financial aid to asylum seekers, all these State/County funded high density 'affordable housing' projects will be allocated to those people as well That's why they don't provide parking stalls. - 15 min. cities.
