Just got one of these for my 20 CRF250L. Exact same setup as you. Used your numbers and have a 100% accurate speedo now. For a side note, the plug can be released from the frame and pulled out for easy access. I did that because I ended up bending a pin on that plug trying to hook it up with that tight fit to get back there. Amazing and easy product.

Just did this on my 2017. Used your link, thanks! Couple things: I have 13/45 sprockets, I did 24.2% and seems pretty accurate up to 45mph. I think I have stock tire specs. When removing the blue speedo plug, grab it with pliers vertically. I kept trying horizontally and couldn’t figure out where the pressure point was. It’s on top “rear” (when you come in from left side the part closest to you). Just squeeze and grab.

They make an awesome device for fixing your flasher rate after changing out those hideous blinkers or a rear fender delete kit as well!

does changing your sprockets effect ones odometer? And if so i’d assume this would fix that issue as well?
@DadsDomain3 жыл бұрын
Yep you need this to fix it. On the old gear driven speedos you could change sprockets and not worry but not it all runs through the compter

Did you use the GPS mph section or did you use sprocket size and tire size section on there website?
@DadsDomain4 жыл бұрын
We used their website. But according to the gps it was spot on

I'm gonna use the website has well but it has two different ways to get the % either gearing and tire size or doing it by speed

They have changed the design, the one I have is smaller...but a great device 👍

I had no idea they have a diff one. Thankfully his battery area was a good spot for this one but smaller is better for these types of things.

Does this device stay in place? Or is it removed after calibration?

It stays installed to the bike. The device is always correcting speed

Thats a great bit of kit! I could use 1 of those as my gearing/tyre combo reads 160kph @ around 90kph. And the bad news... you got caught by the new bot name cylixir. Ive sussed most of it out now. It subs to anyone interracting with it. It got me today when i warned another of my channel hosts so now i got weeks of reporting and blocking to get rid of it.

I kept the stock 14 tooth on the front but I put a giant 48 tooth on the rear and I’m showing a 5 mile an hour difference if the bike says 45 my GPS says 40 the part that really bothers me is that means it’s ringing up miles faster alsoOr at least I think it is but thanks for the video it’s very helpful

Great vivid,,,,,,, but y wouldn’t. U see it through the speedo to top end speed? It’s not that fast?.,
@DadsDomain4 жыл бұрын
It really isn't that fast and if you look closely when I took it to 65 I was holding it wide open. I'd need a long straight away to do it and those roads surprisingly have a lot of sheriffs parked out on them out there.
@scottloudon144 жыл бұрын
It's a nice piece of kit, although it would be nice if it converted to KPH. Granted not everyone Drags these out of country.
@DadsDomain4 жыл бұрын
Thats still a fair request though and it wouldn't be hard to implement if they wanted to program it
@ElementofKindness4 жыл бұрын
It does do KPH. The device is simply a percentage converter, so it doesn't matter if your speedo is registering in MPH or KPH, it will correct the reading to whatever percentage change you program in.

when using the 12' oclock labs kit and site do i need to re-adjust everytime i change my sprockets? say if i have 17' sprocket stock and went to a 18' or so do i need to re-calibrate for the 18' or would it already be input from stock calibration?
@DadsDomain4 жыл бұрын
Yes, with every gearing or tire size change you'll need to update it.
