My MotoX killed the top end on my bike. Went from 80 MPH down to 70... Took it off and sold it. Apparently you have better luck... I'm doing an ECU reflash when I get the Yoshimura...
@BackwoodsOffroadOverlanding2 жыл бұрын
Dang sound like you got lucky getting 80 mph. My stock bike I got to about 75mph
@Broxty2 жыл бұрын
Absolute fact. These have been dyno'd and do exactly as you stated. Waste of money, unless you're just looking for sound.
@Broxty2 жыл бұрын
Man.... these 100% do nothing for performance... in fact, most cases they reduce top end and run hot. All that you are feeling is placebo and louder sound between your legs. Second thing you're feeling, is the WANT for you to feel something due to the pipe cost. Check it out on a dyno.... which my buddy has. He will be uploading shortly.
@BackwoodsOffroadOverlanding2 жыл бұрын
Lol psssh pulling front wheel off the ground under her own power with no clutch is not a placebo. Pipe was like $200 bucks so there’s no want due to cost. Run the dyno with a DNA filter not stock and get back to us. Free flowing exhuast with more fuel and air is what is done for performance gains that’s proven time and time again. May only be 5%, still a gain.

Also drop link or channel to dyno I’d enjoy that win or loose lol
@Broxty2 жыл бұрын
@@BackwoodsOffroadOverlanding absolutely. I'll send it once he edits and uploads. Also, I'm speaking without ECU and more airflow.

Does it fit good on the bike was lookin at this Moto-X ?
@BackwoodsOffroadOverlanding Жыл бұрын
Very good fit and install. They have two versions so be sure to order the right one. One is for big oem blinkers the other are for slim blinkers. Slight difference on the exhaust tip
@imcryoqa2 жыл бұрын
Do a 13t front sprocket. 2nd will come up without clutch. Dont expect much from the 550 mapping. But yeah, a pipe made a big difference
@BackwoodsOffroadOverlanding2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Had someone suggest the 91 octane mapping. Just really curious to how they compare to an actual fuel programmer. Need to do some more research

Sounds pretty good. I still wonder how it's going to do with those moto camping bags you got. Isn't it going to burn them up in spots?
@BackwoodsOffroadOverlanding2 жыл бұрын
I’ll get the green Chile ADV heat shield installed sometime this week and test the bags out

Did you get the V1 or V2 version? Any idea what the difference is between the two?
@BackwoodsOffroadOverlanding2 жыл бұрын
Main difference is the outlet. I’ve got the V2 the V1 outlet is lower to not burn up the stock eam giant blinkers
@marcochavane31242 жыл бұрын
The V1 is a FMF Q4 knockoff. The V2 is a Yoshimura knockoff.
