A daring but fun ascent to Crib Goch, a traverse of the ridge in winter conditions, then navigating the pinnacles and finally an ascent of Garnedd Ugain in worsening weather with harsh wind and snow.
If you attempt this route in winter, you'll probably need crampons, axes, winter skills and possibly rope too. This is a challenging summer route and much more dangerous in the winter.

This footage was recorded on the 9th December 2021 after a few days of snow above 600m and during a brief 4-hour weather window.
The ascent to Crib Goch and the ridge traverse was exciting but went as planned, however, the weather from the pinnacles onwards worsened and by the time we headed down the Pyg Track, there was heavy rain and 50mph+ wind gusts.
All in all, great but exhausting day out in Snowdonia.
