The old tram looked lovely. Would have liked a go on that. Shops looked good too. Great when a place holds such fond memories. Nice seeing all the history. Great views. Nice site with pitches tucked away in all the trees. Love a good drying room. Nice walk for Roxy by the looks of it. Would love to cycle around the water. The little hut was so cute! Pizzas looked very tasty. Looks like you had a great time. 😊🐶👍❤️

Hi guys I wasn’t sure what to expect @ the tram museum (pictured photos of trams 😂) but I really enjoyed it! Chooooochoooo 🚋 The site was lovely, calm & peaceful and all the cans weren’t in lines which you know I have a thing about 😂 The little hut was soooo cute and a really good find - had it not been for Roxy I would of walked straight past the back of it. Alongside the drying room it was great that they recycled the pizza boxes - great idea - cheap to implement but ingenious! Thank all 5 of you for watching & give the girls a cuddle from me 🩷🩷🩷 Rachel & David

The tramway village looked great. Highly recommend Beamish if you enjoyed it - dog friendly and very similar (but much larger)

Looks like a good stop, We've done a few car shows at Crich over the years but probably not for the last 15 or so. Site looked good but we joined CCC instead of CMHC after seeing a lot of negative comments re their pricing, our last CCC site was £15.50 a night. Cheers K.

That’s not bad at all at £15.50 per night - assume it was a CS rather than a club site? The CCC have annoyed me by having a 3 night minimum stay at Keswick and Braithwaite in the Lake District as it ends up costing an arm and a leg and years ago they didn’t have that - now I don’t mind in the holiday period but in November, come on! I think the CCC and CAMC is like comparing Travelodge and Premier Inn or that’s the best analogy I’ve seen 😀 Have a great week, all the very best, David & Rachel 👍

I have to admit, I'm going off the C&MC sites. I've been frequenting independent sites, and the greetings I've received are noticeablely better . You often seem like an inconvenience to the warden when you arrive at a C&MC site

What a great place the tram museum was, never been but looks so large - reminded me slightly of Beamish. Carsington was a blast from the past to as we took the kids there when they were young. Great vlog as always. Great to catch up this weekend to 😉

Thanks Tim. Yes it’s like Beamish but more tram focussed isn’t it and on a smaller scale. Carsington Water was nice - imagine it was great to go there with the kids, they seem to have done an amazing job of creating lots of interesting things around it. Hi David and Rachel a brilliant video and we have enjoyed a lovely day out at both crich and also carsington water both are so beautiful and the whole area is lovely with so much to see! If you go back to Derbyshire Bakewell and dovedale are lovely and the heights of Abraham where you can do cable car hope you are both well and hope Roxy liked the trams

We visited the tram museum a couple of weeks ago to see how we would get on with my partner being a double leg amputee we managed ok most of the time but disappointed the disabled tram wasn’t working that day must make a note to ring ahead and check we still have our pennies as we were told we can visit as many times of the year as we wanted which is good value for money.😊

I’ve not been to Crich in probably 20 plus years, although I’m a fan of trains trams never really interested me, it’s very similar to the Black Country Museum in a way I suppose which is another place I’ve only been once and years ago, we’ve walked around Carsington a few times on a day out but never stopped there. Pizza looked great though 👍

@@LeisureBit we have however been to that campsite and only a couple of spaces round from where you were. It’s a really nice site. Luckily that shows through your video too.
