I met Phil Hughes at the AB Oval in Brisbane a few times, he was such a nice guy. I was on a train when I heard the news, live, that Phil Hughes had passed away. I burst into tears and a few other passengers patted me on the back. When Smith was on the ground and he gets turned over (at 2:55 in this video), limp and barely moving, that was the moment I remember watching live. I turned to my mum and just said "mum, this can't happen again, not again." I'm so glad it didn't. Glad Steve Smith is still with us all. RIP Phil Hughes.

So many comments on him saying 'defending is the hardest thing to do'. He said that because, he was actually concussing at that moment (he didn't play two matches after that test match due to concussion), hence he couldn't concentrate and said defending was hardest at that point. Otherwise he's a world class player with awesome defensive skills and he's having the best test average of modern era around 65.
