भारत में शनिवार की रात थी, सचिन के आउट होने के बाद मैं, एक 9-10 साल का बच्चा, सोने चला गया। तब खुले आंगन में सोया करते थे। सारी रात ’हे भगवान ! इंडिया जीत जाए, इंडिया जीत जाए’ मन में चलता रहा। पता था जीत तो असंभव है। जब अगले दिन रविवार की सुबह पता चला की इंडिया जीत गई। आज भी लगता है जैसे मेरी दुआओं से ही वो मैच इंडिया ने जीता था। बचपन में क्रिकेट का जुनून उन दिनों में देखते ही बनता था। क्या दिन थे वो।
