I've been doing the scotch tape method for over a year now and such a headache saver, one thing I would like to mention (if you care about waste like I do), I know it's one extra step and can get tedious but I hated how much tape I was wasting so I'll cut the length needed then with a pair of scissors, I cut in half (long way) again so then I only need 4 pieces of tape cut in half to make 8 pieces just thick enough for each registration mark :D

This may seem silly, but I now have my Cricut on a coffee table below my standing desk, so it’s pretty much in the dark, and it cuts so much more accurately now! Thank you for your videos! I use all your supplies and have implemented your tips, and I have had great success!

Since she’s using shiny sticker paper, she uses matte tape to cover the registration lines so it won’t blind the sensor with the glare. And the marker is to draw the lines on the tape because the original lines are covered with the tape. ☺️
