Just to be clear on a few points- The system is currently only compatible with Desktop DS. The apps, just like the Knife Blade do not currently support it. On watching back, I do not feel I was clear enough about the housing. It is very similar to the fine point and deep cut housing and works in the same way as far as changing tips and placing in the machine but it is required for the tips. The replacement tips are for future use but you will need to purchase the whole kit initially as the tips will not fit in any other housing❤️

Excellent tutorial. I hesitated buying this on launch day because I wanted to see it in action, especially using multiple foil colors in one project. You’ve sold me on this, but now it’s sold out. I’ll have to wait a little longer, but that’s ok. There will be lots more tutorials in the works to watch before it’s back in stock. Thanks for such a good demonstration.

Love what you did - it worked great on that red rough cardstock - it didn’t even skip - they need to come out with a red color - the multi colors was so nice - kind of favoring Bold because it stands out better

I have not lovely. We had a bereavement this week and so I won’t lie I’m a bit all over the place ❤️ I know others have though and a quick search in Facebook groups will give you some brands. However I will say this. Firstly most foils are heat transferred whereas the foil system is pressure so how long other foils hold up is currently unknown. Just because it worked for one person does not mean it will work for you. Cardstock is key here. It needs as smooth a Cardstock as possible as not all Cardstock was created equal. You will always get the best results with brand on brand combinations so I would use one if your Cricut foils as a base line ❤️

So crazy question can you use two small foils for a design or will it mess up? I didn't even think about it until I'm in the process of making a card 🤷‍♀️🙈😂

You can do multiple colours yes. I think you would struggle to do them at the same time though because of the tape etc❤️

My white "star" rollers an my Explore Air won't move at all.

Ring them and they will advise what you can add to the roller so help them a bit. I’ve never had that issue so would hate to give you the wrong advice. They do have a special “grease” that they add to the rollers and I know they will send out a little pot if it’s require,❤️

No it won’t work on acrylic but I am trying out different clear sticker sheets to see if that works

Joanne We have been told not because most others use heat and this is pressure. But you know I’m going to try! You’ll always get best results from cricut on Cricut products but it’s worth a experiment on my part I reckon. Plus I don’t know what they have tested and what they haven’t so I will try on the common ones and let you all know❤️
