Looks easy watching but a little confused on weld group etc

I was sooo confused when I first started with my Explore last year too, Diane!! But, the more I used, it the easier it got! If you just think of "Grouping" as sticking everything together so you can move it all at one time on your grided canvas; "Attaching" as putting it all together with a paperclip so the machine knows you want everything cut and/or drawn exactly like you have it on your canvas; "welded" so that the words that you type in are flowing as one word and not individual letters, that should help you remember everything that needs to be done! It will just come to you automatically after a few times! AND, the best way to see if you have everything correct is to hit "Make It" so you can see what your design looks like and what the machine sees. If it's scrambled eggs, hit "Cancel" and fix it!! They have some labels that are pre-made with an editable one too. I just made a number of ones for my laundry room. That writable vinyl is incredible! I was blown away at how nice they were.

Asking you and everyone to please continue to pray for us. Our air condition unit is still broken. We live on an extremely extremely tight budget in Southwest Tennessee. My hubby had a rollover accident in 2009 that he flatlined at and left him with a broken neck in 2 places, pinned knee, and shattered shoulder later on he got sepsis and died again, and he's now on oxygen 24-7 due to Covid damaging his lungs. I suffer from Crohn's and Osteopenia which makes it hard to work. I do have a Go Fund Me but not asking or begging for donations just please continue to pray for us. Thank you in advance. God Bless.

I noticed that When Cricut changed their format they messed up everything...it is so much harder to work with.. I had gotten so comfortable with the old format they changed it and they don't tell you what they did .. they don't give you any instructions on what to do.. you have to figure it out for yourself that's so wrong...😔

Hi Rose! I went from Silhouette to Cricut and missed most of the older version so I wasn't able to tell the difference BUT, the BEST part of the new version is how I no longer have to move each individual letter together after typing them in. I never understood why that wasn't just automatic! Lol But I just keep KZbin handy and search for whatever problem I'm having and I can find a fix pretty quickly! Generally, if I'm struggling with something, other people are too so there will be a video about it!! Hope that helps you, sister! God bless!! Xoxo

Hi, Esther! If it’s marked as “writable” it really shouldn’t bleed except maybe when it’s still wet? I’ve not had that issue but I don’t use that feature very often, either. ❤️

The beginning segment sure seems like there is a lot to do to just print a label. I have a Silhouette machine and I just type the word and when I hit send I choose sketch pen so it knows what is in it and that is all I have to do. Unless there is a font I used that needs welded but I am talking more about all the drop down boxes to choose this and then that and then it seemed like you had to go back and choose pen yet again. Hope your "helpers" are doing a better job now that there are labels but I wonder........ 🙂 LOL since there were labels before and they struggled!!!
