I love this machine, I got mine in the late summer of last year and shortly afterwards, I got the Mug Press, The Easy Press Mini, the Easy Press 9x9 and 12x10, and the Maker 3, but so far I have used the Joy and the mug press as I made some mugs for my family for Christmas and I can't wait to take this with me on vacation. I had trouble connecting it to my laptop, but I have the app on my tablet and phone, so I'm good to go. I hope to see more videos like this and get crafting.

To be honest, probably not with the Cricut Joy Xtra, but almost all of the tutorials should be able to transfer over to that machine pretty seamlessly in most cases 😃

I wanted to buy the maker 3 but it’s very pricey at the moment since I became a stay at home mom and I don’t have any income… I wanted it to start a business and thought about the joy but I didn’t know what I could make or if it was worth it and later buy a maker when I made profit! Well you proved me that I could make endless things! I’m so happy now that I can start selling some crafts using that little guy. And also I don’t have that much space so it it’s perfect!

Um if you look for sales the price of the explorer is almost equal to the joy. Example on prime day it was $159. Just recently HSN had it for $199 and if you are new to HSN and sign up for their emails you get 15% your first order. Making it $168 before taxes and shipping. Also they offer flexi pay. So black friday is coming who knows what sales there might be. The joy is $179. All the tools that are specific to the joy are more then their bigger counter parts. In other words this is not a budget friendly machine

I have a Cricut Design question. I’m still a newbie but I did 3 teeshirts for my grandson So I thought I was learning it. I’m doing a small teeshirt again abut when I pick a font and the box comes up and I type in the text. Then I pushed the bottom RT button to get rid of the keyboard, but the text box in the new font never showed up. Did I do something wrong. I feel I’m doing the same same. I just ordered mine from QVC. I am impressed with the deal they had. I could have gotten a better one on Amazon. Only QVC does do the monthly payment plan. I'm looking forward to using this. After having a big cutting machine for a few years, I realized I rarely need a full size 12" x 12". I'm guessing I'll use this much more for several reasons. One is that it's so portable.
