About halfway through, even though I enjoyed this stream, it started getting rather irritating how much they complained about not getting enough money and XP to level up, while also learning and then choosing to ignore all the game mechanics that would make their gameplay easier. While I do agree that the XP gain is insanely slow, and the maps shouldn’t be LVL gated, the Tyler mission showed just how poorly they were actually playing. They didn’t attempt to check their sanity, stayed in the building the entire time, didn’t actually look at the types of ghosts to narrow it down by behaviour, kept distracting each other for bits, and then Criken even admitted at one point that he was just trying to get Charborg killed, KNOWING full well that you don’t get anything from dying, and you even lose money. So it seems rather silly to me to complain that they aren’t lvling fast enough while also actively and even intentionally sabotaging their ability to do so. Again, I did enjoy watching them play, but if you compare this to Benji, Gmart, Sam, and Tomato’s gameplay, it’s abundantly clear that the Crowborg group really just were more focused on fucking around and not actually accomplishing much gameplay-wise, so I don’t think it’s fair to blame the game for their inability to continue. It’s like getting annoyed that you can’t win a basketball game when you never actually attempt to learn how to shoot the ball, and you keep intentionally tripping and nut-tapping your teammates.
