The level of incompetence in the Canadian justice system is beyond belief. They have the utmost respect for every possible rights the criminals may have. If a poor retiree dare to owe money to the CRA, they deploy an outstanding level of harassment. In Toronto, as an unprecedent car theft crisis is raging, the Police advise us to leave our car keys by the door to avoid confrontation with the thieves. Why drown us in taxes for this kind of suckiness at all levels of the most basic function of the government: keeping us safe.

The Canadian police is felling behind the gangs and the crimes that are coming their way. Since the criminals are coming from everywhere unlike before, police is still using old tactics. We are working on the smart city infrastructures, using technology to fight crime should be part of the smart city planning, face recognizing cameras, advanced drug scanning radars at ports, drones monitoring crimes from the sky and so on.
