Well her ex husband hadn't done anything to support her and the kids and wasn't there for Lacy. The boyfriend probably seemed like a capable man who would pay attention to and do nice things for Lacey. I think the mother felt guilty that she hadn't been able to give her children nice things or take them on holidays. Perhaps the mother never had a good man in her life and therefore doesn't know how to recognise one. It hardly makes it her fault that he did that to Lacey. @wynterblackwell36404 ай бұрын
first of all, she sounded like she knew about said animals, but let her get away with it. Also unless it's a very small child, a parent may not hang out in a child's bedroom. The child is supposed to keep the room tidy, put away the clean clothes etc. There is no need for mom to be in there extensively. A lot of animals don't make much noise in general if they are not running wild in the house.

She lives in the same town but has disowned all of us. A friend I went to school with knew him because her daughter go mixed up with him years before my daughter met him and I found out he did the exact same thing to her daughter when they were together she wasn't allowed around her side of the family , only his side. She got the courage to leave him and ran off with the kids to another Province. I asked her if he ever abused her or the kids and she said he just abused her , not the kids , but always refused to allow her to spend time with her family and cut off all contact with her previous friends. I can't count the ways I have tried to reach out to my daughter and my son's as well and she continues to reject us , it's been six years and I dread one day I will get a call saying he has done something as horrible as what has happened to Lacey.

Well he likely did have mental health issues he was a narcissistic predator. The Mom thought he was spoiling her with gifts because he loved her and that's what she would do but no he's just using her as a prop to manipulate his ex the Mom should have wondered why he and his ex broke up too though he probably would have blamed the baby mama instead of himself too. The trips and presents were what is called "lovebombing" it's part of the abuse cycle often the "honeymoon" phase it's called. Butterfly tattoos faith hope she just like looked kind and naive to him likely and she probably was so didn't notice or want to notice his faults at first either. Some guys if they have money just think girls are whores to be bought too sounds very manipulative and she sounds like she was too good for him didn't want to be degraded with the cheating or bought with presents. Girls are often in more danger when they break up with a guy and the guy loses control or ownership in their mind of the victim. I really wish girls were taught red flags in high school because they don't even know what a mess they are in or the signs or how to escape.

Unfortunately it's what the mother said too. It's the 'I can fix him' mentality.

What does being beautiful have to do with Anything??? She was not homely but that has nothing to do with anything either. Why do shallow people always refer to looks as some positive badge? If she was ugly would she deserve to be strangled??? Your statement is ridiculous.

When partners threaten to harm themselves, its just a game they’re playing to get attention. Ive been through many relationships like this, and its a viscous circle of ab*se! Only advise i could give to someone is.. leave, cut off all contact, if it gets bad, get a protection order. Never go save a partner. They will do what they need to do. Its not ones place to save another when in situations like this!

Poor lacy never stood a chance. The inexperience of youth, her impressionable mother, and a much older man who is clearly a seasoned manipulator.

The mother was basing everything on the things he was buying her , paying for trips , taking the family out for dinner , the mother was all about money .
