These issues open air drug market are all due to homelessness , tackle that problem will help addicts stay clean n get them the help they need. Stop passing the buck n handle that already stop allowing more people in and handle the ones already here.

Exactly . I am a native New Yorker but spent most of my adult live in San Francisco. Center of San Francisco is the tenderloin neighborhood, it’s one big drug market . They have thousands of junkies roaming the street 24x 7 like this . So yes this is Harris’s America

the only solution to this is political and economical. our residents have no other options or resources. i am disgusted to hear, in 2024, especially by NYC reporters, referring to these humans as "addicts" . if you are ignorant enough to be a part of the problem, you do not deserve or can afford to look down on any aspect of these situations. tell your government officials to help new yorks mental health / drug / homelessness / economic CRISIS by FUNDING more HELP for our people! NYPD response should be the VERY LAST option.
