Sadly, you’re right. Gus is extremely cautious and he has made an active effort to hide the meth activities from the DEA and the Cartel. There’s no way he’s keeping them alive after that.

@PolishGod1234 I had thought Gus would be billed as the main antagonist not only because the amount of sheer influence he has over the plot but because he ends up ultimately opposing nearly everyone, not to mention how his actions posthumously affect the characters even after his death, him being the overarching antagonist of Season 5. But, I could be wrong with the billing since Hank has been out for Heisenberg since the beginning.
