Its funny that in the interrogation scene Gus said that the paper made no mention of a drug related homicide, but when they said that he was involved in a drug related homicide he immediately knew it was Gale
@knightzilver469626 күн бұрын
Probably because he had already worked on the story on Gale. Later on he mentioned how gale never asked for money but he told him it would be an investment and gus obviously not trying to play too dumb he had to make it seem like Gale had hinted at a drug related investment

Gus fring is probably the best character in BB. His acting is flawless and the way he changes his facial expressions in such a subtle way is simply mind blowing!!!
@gregpl936324 күн бұрын
His motivations felt like a massive tantrum tho. When I found out about max I was like…sooo just shoot hector in the face, but this man starts an empire, works alongside the cartel for years on end and thins out the entire Salamanca family tree (not that that family tree didn’t need trimming 😂) But at the start of it all, it was their choice to approach the cartel in the first place AND did something they knew could be perceived as disrespectful towards the cartel heads. In the end he’s just a very passive aggressive, very vengeful, psychotic prick who ruined lives of people not even involved in his vendetta like Nacho and his dad. The acting was great, just didn’t like the character in the end, not a lot of people share that opinion tho 😂

@gregpl9363 i mean he did it for his lover but yes. In the story he tells to Hector about torturing the animal that dared to eat fruit from the tree he had worked to grow, we find out that he really is a sadistic psychopath that thrives off causing the most pain he possibly he can. It's pretty heavily hinted at that he was a pinochet general as well so this would line up with that quite well

Gus should be the most stressed out character in the BB/BCS universe. Not only does he have to manage Pollos Hermanos, he also has to deal with the cartel and their aggressive tactics while pursuing his goal to secretly build a lab and get a super quality product just so he can get an invite to Don Eladio's place. And then he has to start dealing with Walt's BS. Gus is the only character that could deal with all that.

When gus is walking towards the sniper, I love how they round hits first then the you hear the gunshot because if you have ever been near something being shot at or been actually shot at thats exactly how it sounds. The unfortunate reality of prequels and plot armor.
